patents
he Patents Unit provides a service to all branches in the Saint-Gobain
group. It brings together all the expertise needed in the field
of industrial property rights such as:
- The acquisition of rights : patents filing, extensions
in all countries, examination, oppositions, appeal, actions for
nullity, etc.
- The application of rights : rights to use, infringement
(attack and defense), licensing out,
- Training on patents,
- Relations with professional bodies. It is responsible for management
of patent portfolios, renewal fees, etc., and performs technological
monitoring of patents.
