Pierre-Emmanuel Levy joined Saint-Gobain
Recherche in 1980, and pursued his career in the Treasury
and Finance Department of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain, where
he has been responsible for various assignments since 1985.
He was then appointed Financial Controller for the Insulation
Branch, before being appointed, in 1989, Director of Administration
Control and the Plan for the Industrial Ceramics Division.
In 1990, he was appointed General Manager for Europe of the
Crystals and Sensors Department and General Manager of Crismatec
following its acquisition by Saint-Gobain.
In 1995, he was appointed General Manager of the Silicon Carbide
Division for Europe and Asia, and General Manager of Norton
AS, in Norway.
After taking over management of the Silicon Carbide Division
in 1998, he was appointed, in 2000, Director of the Advanced
Ceramics Division in the Ceramics & Plastics Branch and,
in 2003, Director of Emerging Applications for Saint-Gobain
High-Performance Material.
In 2004, he was appointed Deputy Vice President R&D for Saint-Gobain.
Pierre-Emmanuel Lévy is currently Managing Director of High Performance Refracories and Diesel Particles Filter Activities.
