Saint-Gobain participates in many European R&D programs.
These programs allow projects submitted by industrial partnerships
or public laboratories in the European Union or AELE countries to
receive funding from the European Commission or EUREKA research
program. Saint-Gobain takes part (or has taken part) in almost 100
projects (current or completed). This represents a network of around
300 direct partners and encourages interfacing with the entire European
network.
On approved applications from Saint-Gobain Recherche, the European
Commission finances Ph.D. research and theses in the research centers
of Saint-Gobain group subsidiaries in France and in other European
countries.
