Research Engineer in Applied Mathematics - Optics , Metrology and Mathematics Department
Job description

We are looking for a research engineer in Applied Mathematics whose missions will be:
- to be in charge of studies or projects which are aimed at optimally designing new products and processes in close relationship with R&D and technical teams;
- to model and optimize the Supply-Chain of the Saint-Gobain companies in close relationship with their Supply-Chain managers;
- to propose and manage exploratory studies in Applied Mathematics in order to investigate new topics and to develop new methods.
He/She will join the Applied Mathematics team at Saint-Gobain Recherche, the main research centre of Saint-Gobain.
Candidate profile
- PhD in mathematics, physics or engineering, the candidate should have an extensive mathematical background;
- Knowledge of programming is required;
- Open-minded, creative and rigorous, he/she should also be able to develop fair relationship with our network of technical contacts inside the Group.
