Reseach Engineer
Activities
In the Glass Melting Department, the main mission of this position is to develop new glass formulations for the different Saint Gobain branches.
Main tasks are:
• Formulation of glasses with the most appropriate balance between product properties and process requirements
• Manage projects with partners from different Saint-Gobain R&D centers
• Preparation of Industrial trials
• Benchmark of competitors products, scientific and technical watch
• Exploratory research topics
.
Desired profile
• PhD with high level of competence in physics and chemistry of inorganic materials
• Languages : english required, spanish or german would be appreciate.
• Required qualities :
- Excellent communication skills
- Scientific method and synthetic ability
- Profile rounded up by initiative and an independent work ethic
- Capacity for innovation
