Non-glare
glass
Vision-Lite® non-glare glass improves visual comfort by reducing
reflected light by a factor of 10: from 8% for ordinary glazing
to less than 1% for Vision-Lite®. This low light reflection makes
objects or landscapes on the other side of the glass extremely clear,
free from aberrant reflections of light or images, and also enables
the color rendering and contrast to be appreciated to its fullest.
This technology will be applied in museums, exhibitions and showcases.
Non-glare glass is created from multi layer coatings deposited by
magnetron sputtering. The thin layers which generate this non-glare
property may be deposited on Diamant® extra-clear glass. Apart from
low light reflection, this produces exceptionally high light transmission,
of around 99 %.
