Research interests and activities

Position: Director since 2007. Researcher at Saint-Gobain Recherche and member of the laboratory since 2002. Previous work at ST microelectronics, CEA-Saclay, Clarendon Laboratories and Univeristy of Nice.

Background: Solid state physics and surface science

Research interests:

  • The structure of oxide surfaces and amorphous silicate
  • Growth and formation of thin films and nanostructures.
  • Properties of multilayers, nanostructures and surfaces

My main research is linked to the Thin films and nanostructures activity of the laboratory. I have been working on the growth of multilayers and the nature of interfaces as well as on silicate and titanium dioxide surfaces. Lately, I my interest is turned towards ways to integrate nanostructures into multilayers in order to obtain new optical properties.
