Research interests

"Mechanisms of the melting of a reactive granular packing at the grain scale."

I work on the Melting of reactive packings, in the Heterogeneous reactive materials team. I study with a granular approach the transformation of a reactive granular packing from its initial solid structure until the first steps of the fusion, where the majority of grains has been melted. This study focuses on both experimental work and modeling.

Liquid, gas and unmelted grains after a partial fusion of a reactive granular media.
