Who am I ?
25 years in Saint Gobain Recherche, 5 years in Saint Gobain Desjonquères in the Container department of Saint Gobain. UMR since 2007.
My interests in glass are numerous
- Glass formulation and properties, glass chemical structure
- Glass surface and reactions with its environment
- Glass colouration
- Glass melting and fining (redox equilibrium in molten silicates and other reactions during the process)
My present main interest is in the group Heterogeneous reactive materials where I contribute to the chemical part of the reflexion about glass melting.
A decided taste for "teaching" has brought me to participate to many training courses in Saint Gobain and elsewhere, for instance CNRS GDR schools where glass was among the subjects (Matériaux vitreux, Couleur). In the same trend, another of my interests lies in what is called "knowledge management".
